The patient, a pregnant lady, was under the antenatal care of a gynaecologist. First USG was performed in the month of June; its findings were normal. Another USG performed in the month of January reported anomaly in the foetus.

Eventually, the patient delivered a baby suffering from hydrocephalus.
 

The patient was taken to a government hospital for delivery. She was anaemic and hence, required blood transfusion. Unfortunately, wrong blood group was transfused. The foetus died and the patient also suffered severe complications. She was taken to a higher centre, where she recovered after few days.

The patient – a young man – met with a serious accident. He fell from a moving train which gravely injured both his hands. He was rushed to a hospital where his sugar level was found very high – it was almost 280.

A baby girl was delivered in the hospital. While the mother was discharged, the newborn was admitted to the neonatal unit for observation. She too was discharged after about a fortnight with an advice to follow up with report of Alpha Glucosidase test.  

The parents visited a reputed path lab for the test.

The patient was due to deliver, but her blood pressure was fluctuating. The doctors decided to perform emergency LSCS, a healthy girl was delivered.

Although the mother’s condition remained unstable, she was discharged after about two days. Unfortunately, she was readmitted with complains of breathlessness. Strangely, she was discharged within half an hour.
 

The patient was unable to conceive. She got attracted by an advertisement in a newspaper, published by an OBGYN, about 70% success rate of IVF procedure.

She approached the doctor, underwent the IVF procedure but without any results.
 

Suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome, the patient visited a gynaecologist in the month of January. The doctor prescribed a medicine to be taken for three months.

The patient consulted the doctor twice thereafter; at the end of March and sometime in the month of October. Unfortunately, she experienced blurred vision and suffered a stroke / clotting in the brain after three months.
