A 45-year-old glass worker from Hafeez Baba Nagar has accused a hair-transplant centre in Banjara Hills of medical negligence, claiming that he suffered serious side-effects following his first session of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. Following his complaint, the Banjara Hills police registered a case of negligence against the clinic staff under Section 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.In the complaint, lodged on Wednesday night, the victim told the police that he had been experiencing heavy hair loss when acquaintances referred him to the clinic on Road Number 14 in Banjara Hills. When he called the clinic, the person who answered the phone identified herself as Aanam and claimed that the clinic specialises in providing the "best Turkey hair transplant."
