Scranton family receives $3.5 million in medical malpractice settlement

The family of a Scranton mother of two who died five years ago of an allegedly misdiagnosed heart problem settled a medical malpractice lawsuit against Geisinger Community Medical Center and two physicians for $3.5 million, court documents show.
