Hyderabad: A doctor’s negligence in leaving medical cotton in a woman’s stomach during her caesarean section led to her death. This incident took place in the Yadadri Bhongir District Hospital in Telangana.

The woman was admitted to Hyderabad Hospital due to stomach pain. During the examination, the doctors found that a piece of cotton had been left in her stomach during her last operation.

The woman, who was six months pregnant, died during treatment.

According to doctors, the cotton left in her stomach caused serious damage to the women’s intestines.

After this incident, the family members of the woman staged a Dharna outside the Yadagiri Bhongir hospital where the deceased was operated on last year.

Upon receiving information, the police reached the scene and investigated the case.

The family members protested strongly against the erring doctors blaming them for the deaths of the women because of their negligence.
