In an unfortunate road accident, Dhani Ram suffered severe injuries on his left leg. He was rushed to the emergency ward of St. Stephen Hospital and was under the care of Dr. Varghese. The doctor noted that the peripheral pulses were absent and hence, performed an angiogram and exploration of popliteal artery with embolectomy was done.
