A young patient allegedly died due to medical negligence at a private hospital in the federal capital, prompting police action and an official inquiry.
According to police, an FIR was registered on February 23 against two doctors, and a post-mortem examination was conducted the following day. One of the accused was arrested on February 26, while his pre-arrest bail plea was rejected by the court. He is expected to be presented for physical remand on February 28.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the victim’s parents alleged that their child’s condition deteriorated due to negligence during treatment and demanded strict action against those responsible. They called for transparency in the investigation and justice for their family.
